Setting the standard each year for quality in coaching, training techniques, administration, and professional responsibility.
prepare & promote
Preparing and then promoting athletes for their next level aspirations for volleyball whether it is to advance in school or playing collegiate volleyball.
pride & tradition
Cultivating pride and tradition by creating an atmosphere where players return each year, promote their sport, interact positively in their communities, and believe in the Elite dream.
the elite recipe
Having played at the collegiate level, we know what it takes to develop athletes in both the indoor and outdoor game. At Southern Elite we strive to provide our community’s athletes with a plethora of potential scholarship opportunities with these proven methods:
Elite skill-based training sessions with featured skills specific coaches who have played at the NCAA Division 1 level.
nutrition & strength
Nutritional and strength and conditioning training guide will be provided to each athlete that are specifically formulated to allow the athlete to take control of their physical state off the court so that they are able to perform optimally on the court.
Mental preparation is just as important as the physical. Our athletes will be put through NCAA visualization and mentally tough sessions to make sure they are ready to play the game mentally just as much as physically.
fundraising & charity
Mandatory fundraising and charity event participation to ensure our athletes are working for the opportunity to play and learning the importance of giving back to our community.
We have been through the recruiting process and know what it takes to get college coaches interested in our players. In addition to the numerous connections we have with teammates, past coaches, and colleagues currently living in the college volleyball world, we are able to guide athletes and parents alike on NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA rules and regulations.
coaching & Learning philosophy
Learning to play volleyball, or any sport, requires the guidance of an experienced coaching staff who can communicate with the players to help them develop their fundamental and advanced skills in the sport.
Repetition of skills is necessary to master the sport. Our training techniques look to include every player extensively in each drill to increase the number of touches that they get each practice.
We believe that player development is enhanced when coaches interact with the players by providing feedback. This feedback can come in many forms and may include both constructive criticism and positive reinforcement.
Our girls must be prepared to compete. Whether it be to make the program, the high school team, earn a starting position or simply competing to be the best—competition is at the core of what we do. We provide many opportunities to compete in practice and have a competitive tournament schedule for each age group. Players must earn their playing time through competition for their spot. Players are given opportunities every day to compete and learn a valuable life skill as well.
